Michal Mrozowski (S’88–M’90–SM’02–F’08) received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Gdansk University of Technology, Gdansk, Poland, in 1983 and 1990, respectively. In 1986, he joined the Faculty of Electronics, Gdansk University of Technology, where he is currently a Full Professor, the Head of the Department of Microwave and Antenna Engineering, Director of the Center of Excellence for Wireless Communication Engineering (WiComm), and Head of the CUDA Research Center for Computational Electromagnetics.
His research interests are concerned with microwave engineering as well as with computational electromagnetics and photonics. Currently he is engaged in research related to microwave filter design, synthesis of microwave filters with frequency-dependent couplings, surrogate model construction, as well a full-wave optimization and computer aided design of passive microwave circuits using model order reduction and GPU computing.
